God is creator and owner of all. In His wisdom and love, He entrusted the care and nurture of His creation to men and women. We are called to be His faithful stewards.

Theme Verses
Psalm 24:1 – The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.
Psalm 8:6 – You made him ruler over the works of your hands; you put everything under his feet.

Concept
God owns everything and has made us stewards of all that He owns.

Aims

• To teach GEMS and Cadets that God is the creator and owner of all.
• To teach GEMS and Cadets that stewardship means that God has entrusted us with the care and nurture of His creation.
• To teach GEMS and Cadets that stewardship is not equated with being miserly. God’s stewards must be generous – lavishly caring for others with all that God has entrusted to us.
• To teach GEMS and Cadets that stewardship reflects how much we value God.
• To teach GEMS and Cadets about the Kingdom dividends of being God’s stewards – when we use what we’ve been given to love God and to love people, the entire Kingdom benefits and receives the blessing.
