2016 Leaders Conference
When: June 10 – 12
Where: Brisbane (Brookfield CCC)
The GEMS and Cadets leaders conference is being held this year in Brisbane on the weekend of the June 10 – 12.
Due to our wonderful QLD government, this weekend is no longer a long weekend and we have decided to finish the conference on the Sunday.
The board has decided as this is a very important meeting that the cost for the conference will be covered by the board. We do ask that you approach your church to assist with covering the travel costs to the conference, but the board is more than willing to assist if required.
The conference will officially start late Friday night to give people time to fly in and get to the venue, and will finish on Sunday morning after church to give plenty of time for people to get to the airport for flights home in the afternoon. If needed we will be able to find suitable accommodation for the Sunday night (probably a board members house 🙂 ).

Thanks for covering the conference costs!! I’m keen to go to the conference, I really enjoyed & got heaps out of the last one (as a new GEMS leader!) I’m looking at booking flights from Melbourne. Hi there. I’ve booked my flights to Brisbane for the conference, and I arrive on the Thursday night. I was wondering if there would be someone one to billet with for the Thursday night?
