Following on from the last conference in Brisbane, QLD we have decided to finish the conference at 2 pm on Sunday to allow for people to travel home for work on Monday
If you are able to stay an extra day or two in Melbourne you won’t have very far to travel to your next destination. Unfortunately you won’t be able to stay at the CYC, however you are right in the heart of Melbourne so you will be able to walk or catch a free tram anywhere within the CBD.
Our allocated our own accommodation area which is secured with key tag access
Rooms vary in capacity from 2 to 6 people, all with single beds and/or bunks.
Each room has its own modern ensuite
All bed linen is provided, including a bath towel
All rooms have an individually controlled reverse-cycle heating/cooling unit

11:00 Session 1 – Leadership Training

1:30 Session 2 – Badges / Craft
3:00 Afternoon tea
Separate Gems/Cadet facilitated chat sessions to discuss clubs etc
4.30 Free time
5:30 Dinner (devotion) – “Christ in History”
7:00 Outing
Sunday 10th

9.30 Church service
Vacate rooms by 10am

This means that you are able to arrive at whatever time suits you best on Friday as the Melbourne City Express operates 24/7, including all public holidays. Running continually throughout the day there’s always a SkyBus waiting for you.
Don’t worry – someone will meet you at Southern Cross Station and will provide you with a tour guide or directions to the CYC.

What times does SkyBus depart?
SkyBus runs 24/7 with day departures every 10 minutes.
How much time should I allow before departure to catch a SkyBus?
Allow at least five minutes before the scheduled departure time to board the SkyBus.
How do I know which SkyBus to catch to get to Melbourne Tullamarine Airport on time?
In general, an express SkyBus trip takes 30 minutes from Southern Cross Station to Melbourne Tullamarine
Airport. During peak times (approximately 6–10am and 3–7pm), please allow for an average trip time of 45
minutes.
Ensure that you allow enough time to meet your airline’s check in requirements. We anticipate that you would be arriving at the airport sometime between 3:15 and 3.30pm so would recommend booking flights from 5pm onwards to allow for standard check-in times
